Dear Ms Stedman,

Searching for affordable copies of the Celtic Daily Prayer Book for an emerging something here in Toronto, Canada, google directed me to your March 08 blog inspired by the CDP. Great meditations on the Morning Prayer Cancitle!

I am finding here in Canada that many people use the book without connecting with the Community itself.
http://www.northumbriacommunity.org/. As you know the spirituality is both Alone and Together.

Perhaps there are other CDP pilgrims in Prague you could connect with.

We wish you every blessing,

Pastor Duke Vipperman
A Canadian friend of the Northumbria Community

...and all my times, all my times are in His hand.

The concept of nakedness is a subjective one. To a simple mind, to an innocent mind, nudity is not offensive; it has its own beauty. But up to now, man has been fed on poison, and gradually, with the passage of time, this poison has "spread" from one pole of his existence to the other. Consequently, our attitude to "nakedness" is completely unnatural

Amen!!!

I agree wholeheartedly that life or death is GOD's choice NOT ours. You said it very clearly. Through our life we have known many who have been faced with this decision and there is always guilt and regret associated with aborting the baby but for those who choose life they always say later it was a very hard decision but they are thankful they chose life.

Being an American citizen and facing the election shortly, this is probably the biggest reason why I CAN NOT support Obama. There are MANY others but this one overshadows all the others.

You should do it the Life Studio thingy.
Don’t plan it just start it and perfect it along the way.

Take a risk it might not work but also could.

Try reading the books by Paul Arden formally Saatchi and Saatchi "Whatever You Think, Think The Opposite" and "It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be" If you need inspiration that is!

You will find the journey anything but consistent, secure and relaxing. But it will keep you engaged, focused and tired (so no more time for day dreams :)

Well, I think the dreaming is important, Beth. You never know how God is going to speak to you and lead you. If you fully consider these dreams, you will be prepared when the Lord sends something your way. It might not be the dream in total, but some part of some opportunity might resonate with you because it fits the feel of your dream.

Under his mercy...

"Naked I came from my mother's womb and naked I shall return/the Lord gave the Lord has taken away/Blessed be the name of the Lord"

Which is an odd scripture to find encouraging. But there's something timeless about it. Enduring.

Thanks for writing this beautiful post.
